Pet Foods:
MILEX uses the same raw material source to manufacture a healthy food for pets. The goal is to make an all natural pet treat or toy that is not in any way harmful or detrimental to a pet. Therefore we make all natural pet treats that contain no cholesterol, very low fat, and no preservatives. Our raw material is itself a natural preservative. These treats are marketed under the trade name “Training Tots” by Kong Company. Known as Kong Training Tots they are gaining widespread usage.
We also make a laboratory toy for mice and other small animals called “Habitubes”. This cylindrical tube is extruded from the same material and thus is all natural and biodegradable. The animal can nibble and play at the same time reducing the need to employ plastic tubes that must be cleaned and do not feel natural to the mice. MILEX is building an extraction plant to extract bioflavones from the grain husk. The leading material we are making is called APIGENIN. This compound can be described as super antioxidants. With uses from cosmetics to cancer treatment watch for this new product introduction in the very near future!
The expanded room in Pampa Texas allows us to design and build a factory to product natural insulation made from grain protein. Testing indicated a superior “R” factor insulation that can be mold resistance with the added natural formula and cost competitive with carcinogenic fiberglass as well as cellulose and other forms of insulation. Forms, Clamshells, End caps, trays, cups. Work is underway to form MILEX material into many different uses in the area of packaging and fast food.
