MILEX CORPORATION is the result of the merger of three previous companies each producing one component of our product line today.  Milex manufacturers a natural plastic resin used to make biodegradable products such as packaging loosefill, pet toys, pet treats, and soon insulation.  Milex also extracts other products from grain protein in our labs such as “apigenin”, carnauba wax, natural oils, and food coloring.  All our products are totally natural with no petrochemical or toxic additives.

 

Milex maintains a raw material –plant in the Texas Panhandle that buys grain specially produced for us directly from our farmers.  This grain is then processed and shipped to affiliates that in turn extrude the raw material into finished products.
Our offices and headquarters are located in Pampa, Texas in the heart of High Plains Grain Producing Region. 
Our company philosophy is to make ONLY all natural, totally biodegradable and renewable products from grain.  We believe that petrochemical plastics are a wonderful invention for mankind and have a great future in all kinds of products.  However, we also believe that these indestructible materials should not be used in any throwaway applications or applications that might endanger human or animal health.  Therefore we should make things meant to be thrown away out of natural biodegradable materials and things meant to be long lasting out of petrochemicals!

 

We also strive to promote truth in advertising.  Thus we prefer to use ISO definitions to define our products.  For example the ISO definition of “Biodegradable” is – “Capable of being consumed by bacteria 100% to the point of no toxic residue”.   By this definition we are the only biodegradable plastic on the market today.

 

Milex is continually working to add to new products lines to our capabilities proving that industry and environment can work together and be totally compatible with products that do not harm our planet and are cost effective!

Milex will lease a complete production plant in a dry van that can be parked at YOUR dock and produce directly into your overhead dispensing bags.

 

No more problems with delivery, price fluctuations, quality, and at the same time switch to a truly natural and biodegradable protein based packing.

 

Milex can long term price due to its production directly from the American Farmer with no middlemen, no petroleum components, and totally renewable ingredients.

 

All you need is power to the equipment and storage for the production in your plant. Milex will train your personnel and supply you with raw material at a guaranteed price FOB.

 

Milex offers three sizes of factory depending on your usage and time restraints.

 

Option 1 - Milex 400 Series - Produce up to 400 cubic feet/hour

Option 2 - Milex 800 Series - Produce up to 800 cubic feet/hour          

Option 3 - Milex 1200 Series - Produce up to 1,200 cubic feet/hour

 

Produce for yourself from 400 cubic feet per hour to 1200 cubic feet per hour. Raw Material Cost guaranteed just add the cost of power and labor!

How It Works

• Customer leases a full production plant from Milex.
• First and last lease payment due on signing of contract.
• Milex then builds and delivers a complete production factory built inside a dry semi van to the customer’s facility, or    installs in customers plant.

• Customer provides a vacant dock bay, electricity to plant, and personnel to run machinery.
• Lease term is 7 years – lease rate depends on size needed – see separate price charts.

• Milex provides customer price contract on all resin needed.  Prices based on FOB Amarillo, Texas. 

• Customer agrees to insure and care for plant with normal wear and tear allowed.  At end of lease customer may exercise    its option to renew lease for an additional term.

• Milex guarantees raw material for term of lease and specifies product characteristics.

• Milex provides one week of operator training at Milex training facility and an additional week on site after installation. 

• All training is provided on a per diem fee basis.
